PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Safe-Tech Loader/Skid Steer/Backhoe Operator Training Program for industrial applications consists of a 6-hour classroom training session presented in an interactive format which covers all aspects of loader/skid steer safety and operation. An on-site individual practical operating test will follow where unsafe or incorrect operating techniques are identified and corrected and pre-shift inspection procedures are reviewed. This program will provide the participant with the necessary knowledge to safely and correctly operate your specific equipment.

LEGISLATION AND REGULATIONS
Clause 25(2) (a) of the OHSA (Occupational Health and Safety Act) places an obligation on an employer to "provide information, instruction and supervision to a worker to protect the health or safety of the worker". "Competent person" is defined by the OHSA as someone who:

a) is qualified because of his knowledge, training, and experience to organize the work and its performance,
